Atman - SmallEveryone has a direct connection with the Divine through the instrumentality of the Âtman. This connection is infallible and perfect because it is the source, course and goal of human existence. However, most are unaware of this Divine connection and unable to utilize it for direct guidance from this source of higher intelligence. This is because the connection “hardware” is out of service. As human beings with our marvelous human nervous system, we all have the basic equipment necessary for Divine communication. However, this equipment is in need of repair and adjustment in almost everyone alive today. How to make these repairs and adjustments is the topic of Âtmavedî.

The Âtman is that aspect of the Divine that we all have access to in consciousness. Once communication with the Âtman begins, it soon becomes more and more clear with practice. Eventually, guidance from the Âtman will lead a person to the Path to Brahman Consciousness, and from there the supreme goal of human existence can be achieved.

    Two States of Existence

There are two states of existence, relative and Absolute[i]. Relative existence is just that, relative to “something.” What is relative existence relative to? Something that is non-relative, absolute. Relative existence is ever changing and unstable. This is the quality of a dream, is it not? Absolute existence is different. Absolute existence is unchanging, constant and stable.

In relative existence one can “predict” the out-come of certain actions based on what happened the last time, or on what Maharishi calls the “laws of nature[ii].” However, our predictions are not infallible and frequently are incorrect. This is because the relative side of existence is unstable and ever changing.

In contrast, the Absolute is totally predictable because in the Absolute there is no history. Time is a relative thing that has no place in the realm of the Absolute. In the Absolute realm we do not make predictions on the basis of “laws of nature” because there are no laws.

The Absolute is the realm of the eternal NOW. When we enter the Absolute we cease to be “governed” at all. It is a realm of total freedom and unbounded awareness[iii]. In the realm of the absolute there is only ONE. You and I cease to exist in that realm. The Âtman and the individual are not separate in that realm. Existence is found to be a stable, non-changing continuum of Bliss in the realm of the Absolute.

    01 - The Holographic Universe

The Holographic UniverseIn 1982 a remarkable event took place. At the University of Paris a research team led by physicist Alain Aspect performed what may turn out to be one of the most important experiments of the 20th century. You did not hear about it on the evening news. In fact, unless you are in the habit of reading scientific journals you probably have never even heard Aspect's name, though there are some who believe his discovery may change the face of science.

Aspect and his team discovered that under certain circumstances subatomic particles such as electrons are able to instantaneously communicate with each other regardless of the distance separating them. It doesn't matter whether they are 10 feet or 10 billion miles apart.

    02 - Eternal Bliss Consciousness

Krishna with Flute - deep blueEternal Bliss Consciousness is the essential nature of existence[i] and should be the living reality of everyone’s life. The knowledge presented in this course can awaken this fundamental Truth in the awareness of all who will allow this to happen. You are cordially invited to study the knowledge presented here and discover the entry portal into your Eternal Bliss Consciousness.

As you study this course and practice the exercises, the elements of Maha-Videha will be enlivened in your awareness. Maha-Videha is a view of existence from the most comprehensive vantage point in our universe because this knowledge has come to us from the Creator, Lord Brahma.

    03 - Life in perspective

Siva Krishna JivasThere is an Ocean of Consciousness within which our universe and all universes exist. Beyond the Ocean of Consciousness is the Light of Pure Consciousness. This is the Ultimate, Absolute, changeless source of all that can be and beyond all relative existence. The Light of Pure Consciousness is S’îva/Krishna.

The Paradox of S’îva and Krishna

S’îva and Krishna are distinct and independent Beings paradoxically existing as one S’îva/Krishna. They are eternally inseparable and neither is the cause or source of the other. Both Beings, taken together or separately, are the Supreme Deity of all universes.

    04 - The Absolute

SriChakraThere is an ocean of Absolute, Pure Consciousness that is lively and self-aware. Everything exists only within this infinite ocean of Silence. Everything manifest and even unmanifest derives its value only from this infinite Silent Pure Consciousness.

When we express everything in terms of Silence, we have to remember that this silence is not “dead” silence. This Silence is alive and awake and aware. This Silence has within it the unmanifest infinite Dynamism. Hence it is dynamic, self-aware Silence. It is Silence (Pure Consciousness) that is constantly witnessing Its Own Self in an infinite self-referral loop. This means that the Absolute or the Pure Consciousness comprises of the Silent Witness, the process of Witnessing and the Witnessed or the Experiencer, the process of Experiencing and the Experienced. Our beloved Guru dev, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, would call this the “Rishi, Devata, Chhandas” loop of self-referral within Pure Consciousness which forms the “building blocks” of Pure Consciousness where “Rishi” is the infinite, Absolute Silent Witness (Krishna/Sat), “Devata” is the infinite Dynamic Potential (S’akti/Chit) and “Chhandas” is the Experience (S’iva, Pure Bliss, Ananda) arising out of the co-existence of the Infinite Silence and Infinite Dynamism.

05 - The Process of Manifestation

    Manifestation

It is important to recognize the experience of the process of manifestation in which a thought becomes a physical object. Recognizing this experience begins to remove all doubt that everything in the universe is nothing but the manifestation of consciousness. On the basis of this experience, we can learn to manage consciousness. If we can learn to manage consciousness, we can become Masters of Natural Law and live life in Brahman Consciousness as a peer of the Creator. Eventually we may even have the opportunity to become Brahma and create our own universe. All this stems from the recognition of the experience of the process of manifestation, so here is a roadmap to that recognition.

First, let us establish a conceptual framework that begins with a description of the full range of conscious experience that is available to the human nervous system. Consciousness is the experience of awareness, and a state of consciousness is the degree of awareness. Consciousness is essentially a binary state that has alternating periods of Null or Void consciousness and various degrees of Awake consciousness. The frequency of these alternating on/off states determines the experience or state of consciousness. When the frequency is infinite, consciousness is pure and unmanifest. Any lesser frequency is a manifested state of consciousness.

06 - Sri Chakra: Universal Jiva Archetype

The jîva is the fundamental, eternal life unit of every evolving being and hence a very important object of study for anyone who is interested in improving the quality and quantity of his or her life. If the jîva is eternal and the core of our individual life, why do we not have a much greater awareness of the jîva? Why do we only live for a few years? What happens to us after we die? Are we reborn in another body? Why is life so difficult to bear at times, even unbearable, and at other times so joyful? Knowledge of the jîva will provide the answers to these questions and many more.

Even though a jîva is made of nothing but consciousness, it has a very specific structure based on the S’rî Chakra, the universal jîva archetype. The S’rî Chakra is a geometrical knowledge construct. A geometrical knowledge construct is a precisely configured collection of fundamental geometrical patterns that completely define a specific realm of knowledge.

    07 - Karma

KarmaThe concept of kârma is a very important part of the S’rî Vyûha paradigm that views the universe as a purely consciousness based, knowable, knowledge construct. In this chapter we will present some ideas about what kârma is, and the mechanics of how kârmas are generated. We will see how kârmas are stored in the S’rî Chakra, how the kârma storage mechanism is a major factor that renders the S’rî Chakra dysfunctional, and that there is a technique for quickly balancing kârmas.

Kârma is Action that is Not in Balance

Kârma is action that is self-perpetuating because it is not in balance. We have all heard of the law of physics that states, “every action has an equal and opposite reaction.” Kârma is action that has not yet reacted and hence is in a state of imbalance.

    08 - God

Krishna and Arjuna with Vishnu - smallWith all the references in previous lessons to the “Creator” and “Brahma,” you may be wondering if these are references to “God.” How does your concept of “God” fit in with kârma, the S’rî Chakra, S’îva, Krishna, jîva, Brahma, and Brahman Consciousness? Who do we mean when we say “God?” Is God a person, like one of us? Is God a man or woman or asexual? Is God a nameless, formless, all-powerful, indescribable, omnipotent, and mysterious “being?” In this chapter we will explore the Divine aspect of our existence from the vantage point of S’rî Vyûha and find answers to all these questions and more.

    Preface

I wrote this book to try to convey my sense of awe and excitement about the times we live in today. This classic phrase, which opens A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, seems to exactly relay the situation before us in our present day:

“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisd ... continue >>

    Chapter 1.
    The Cycles of Time

There are various accounts of the age and origin of our universe from ancient scriptures and scientific theories. I have studied many of them, including Creationism from the Christian Tradition, Creationism from the Vedic Tradition, Catastrophism, and Darwinism, and also researched this topic i ... continue >>

    Chapter 2.
    Our Universe is a Hologram

We need a better understanding of the nature of this “relative” universe that we live in, so we can come out of the matrix of illusion and see the world for what it is. To us, the universe and our lives may seem real, solid and definitely not an illusion. This is because we are embedded in the ill ... continue >>

    Chapter 3.
    Karma

Religions often refer to God's Judgment and how He metes out punishment for sins and transgressions against Him. This is a somewhat irrational way to explain karma. For one thing, God never punishes - He loves and accepts everyone. Contrary to most religions, God is not jealous, or wrathful, and is n ... continue >>

    The Great Global Deception

Humanity has been under what has been called “the great global deception” for the last 500 years. We have been told that the earth is a spinning globe in a vast, limitless space and human life is an extremely insignificant part of this universe. However, we know from our dail ... continue >>

    Balancing of Karma

The pralaya is now here, starting with the amazing world-wide quarantine for COVID-19, which has proven be engineered mass hysteria instead of a real threat to life by a virus. Surviving and Thriving

We are not interested in just surviving the effects of the pralaya. No, we want to thrive during this period and use this time wisely to develop spiritually and physically for the joys awaiting us in the Satyug Age. If the Ekam Vitara Network is suc ... continue >>

    Satyug Kaya Kalpa Programme

    About Visvamitra

Visvamitra is the name given to me by Guru Dev when he accepted responsibility for my evolution and existence in September 1994. It is common for the Guru to give the new disciple a name as an ideal to become. Since Guru Dev desires that I become Visvamitra, which means "friend to everyone", I whol ... continue >>
